Kids can combine various sounds and images to make a unique creation or one that helps them to learn more about the concepts of subjects that are taught at school.
This is a program that is similar to clip art and PowerPoint combined. There are several tabs with pictures to choose from, graphics and sounds that can be added together. It's supposed to help with learning the different languages that are involved with programming, but it can also help children discover a little about creativity and how to put a presentation together. Many characters can be created that are from the imagination of the child. The characters can talk, dance, and sing. They can also play and talk with other characters that are on the same screen.
The program is rather easy to use. All you have to do is connect the language blocks that create the image on the screen. It's similar to putting a puzzle together, which makes kids think on a different level than they would while they are in school. Sound effects and music clips are available to add, but they don't really add a lot of difference to the character. The movements are what make each character unique as this is how you will delve deeper into the design aspect of the program.
It does take some time to get the hang of the program, but it will teach kids the basics of using computer programs and teach them to use their imagination in order to create something that they want to see. All of the images that are created can be shared on the program's website so that others can see all of the unique ideas that have been designed.
